WORLD CHAMPIONS

NY Metro has won the 2011 World Pipe Band Championships 3B.
Congratulations to Pipe Major Michael Mahoney & Drum Sergeant Adrian Mordaunt, and THANK YOU to all of our Family & Friends at home who helped us succeed abroad.

THE CLASS OF 2011

After working out with us in our Winter Development program, fifteen new members have been added to the band’s roster. Pipe Major Mike Mahoney and Drum Sergeant Adrian Mordaunt are proud to welcome the following players to NY Metro:

THE CHIEFTAINS & NY METRO IN CONCERT
For the second year in a row NY Metro has been invited to perform in concert with Celtic super-group, The Chieftains. The band will be appearing at the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ on Friday, February 18th!

THE SOUND OF THE BAGPIPES
NY Metro piper, Brian McGuire, just returned from Ireland where he was shooting the music video for a rap song entitled The Sound of the Bagpipes. Brian was asked to provide the piping for the track by Jamaican rap star Rally Bop. Watch our FaceBook page for more details.
